Because we offer a broad range of services, each estimate or proposal is tailored to your specific needs during our free consultations. We work with our clientele and their budgets to maximize the amount of work that can be done with the amount that you have in mind to invest in your home.
How long does a consultation take?
As soon as you contact us via phone or email listed in the "Contact Us" section above, we will usually reach out to you the same day. Once our office staff reaches you, you can schedule the on-site consultation at any time of your choosing. After the consultation is scheduled, we will meet with you and discuss your plans, goals and ideas. Depending upon the project or time frame, these meetings can be as brief or as extensive as you need, we are here to serve you.
What do I need to have ready?
During the consultation, we will work with you and ask specific questions to understand the goals, dreams, and needs you are trying to achieve for you and your home. Try looking on websites like HGTV, Pinterest or Google and get some ideas of what you like. Our consultants will talk to you about the specific areas of your home you would like renovated, along with themes, colors, and time frames. Whether you already have a certain look in mind or need help determining what best suits your space, we are there for you.
What is your usual lead time before you can begin a project?
Depending on the size of the job, lead time can vary. Most large jobs (anything lasting longer than a month) usually are able to start a week after confirmation. That gives us the time we need to prepare materials and schedule the right techs and specialists for your job. Anything smaller than a month, we are usually able to start within 5-7 business . Need us to get in sooner? No worries. During the on-site consultation, our consultants will set a firm start date according to your needs. Our priority is what works best for you. If you need immediate work done or want to schedule for later on in the year, we are flexible.
Are your crews safe and reliable?
We, like you are homeowners with families and children, and we have in mind what it would be like to have our crews working in your homes from your perspective. All of our crews have been hand selected and have completed projects on our homes before we put them in yours.We don't just hire anybody...All of our crews are selected by us based on skill, integrity, and knowledge of their trade. We don't just have employees at FCR, we have team members that we have over for dinner...
Do you carry insurance?
Yes, we carry $1,000,000 liability insurance at all times. That way you can have peace of mind regarding your home during the process.
Do I have to be onsite at all times during the job process?
No, you can continue working during the day, or take a vacation while your home is getting renovated. Many of our clients have enjoyed traveling while their home is being worked on and returning to see the final product. Also, if you choose to stay home during the project, we work very hard to accommodate you while we are working.
Do you guys require a deposit to start working?
Yes, we require a minimum 20% deposit before we schedule a start date and begin your job. Industry standard is 30%-50%, we feel like this is too much when we haven't started your job yet.
Do you have a minimum job size?
For new customers, we have a minimum job size of $500. If you have a small project that may be under that amount, we will try to see if there is anything else in your home that we can help improve so that your investment is well spent.
Do you warranty your work?
Yes, all of our work comes with our standard 3-year labor and material warranty. Our warranty covers any defect in labor or materials that could occur but does not apply to normal wear and tear. For example, if we paint your home, and the paint suddenly blisters or starts peeling, we will repaint the area(s) in question at no cost to you. If the paint blisters or peels due to a leaking roof, or because it was damaged by a large object, that is normal wear and tear. We also offer an additional premium warranty that extends to 5 years.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, we offer discounts to veteran and active duty U.S. military service members. We also offer discounts to senior citizens. Ask about our discount options during your free on-site consultation!
